Nethybridge Pottery is the
workshop and showroom of potter Rob Lawson. It was established in 1998 in a 200 year old
stone built steading overlooking the River Spey near Grantown on Spey, Scotland.
Most of the work is
functional, but new ideas are continually explored, and the range of pots is the result of
constant experimentation with shapes and glazes. Most pieces are handthrown stoneware and
glazed in an organic, abstract style which compliments the vibrant, multi-coloured glazes.
All aspects of the making process are completed on site.
The showroom only
displays pots made on site and is the exclusive outlet for the work.
